Unlike those that nest on the islands, these in cities are used to people so they are not afraid us at all, thy even attack if they seen us as a threat. Trying ring young ones on terraces of one building in the city of Split, one attacked me and gave me a few stitches on head which has never happened in populations that nest on uninhabited islands.

It will be interesting to observe how these urban population will develop and whether it will become more and more aggressive.
